On the 18th of October, the 9th grade along with some students from grades 11 and 12 went to Warsaw Zoo. The aim of this trip was to compare animal behavior in captivity and in freedom. Students were divided into teams and prepared information about some of the mammals.
They focused on social behavior, competition, cooperative work, dating seasons, etc. While still on-sight, they presented their findings and led a discussion about the differences.
In all, it made for a very interesting and successful lesson outside of the classroom.
