On the 24th of April, grade 11 went on an excursion to the Invisible Museum in the Millennium Plaza. The visit consisted of two parts, the first being educational regarding Braille and blind alternatives to our world's most common household items.
The second part was a two hour experience in complete darkness. They had to move around a house, cross the street, find their way around a city and go through various interesting places like a forest and a cafe. The overall trip gave the 11th graders a new perspective. They began to understand the difficulties that the blind go through, and they also found out how amazing these people are for being able cope with such a disability. Overall, it was a very educational and inspiring trip.
