Apple picking farm

Children had a wonderful time learning about what it takes to work as a Grover on an apple farm. They were able to taste different kinds of apples, and they had a chance to see the machinery used to pick apples.

On this trip they were given a chance to pick as many apples as they wanted to and take the apples home with them.  We stayed on the apple farm for an hour and a half and then we went to the animal Farm, which was about ten minutes away.  At the animal Farm they were able to take a carriage ride, and play with soap bubbles and feed some animals on the farm.  The day ended with a grilled BBQ of sausages with a small bonfire.
