Fieldwork in Warsaw's Praga 2012

Back in December, under the head of our Vice Principal and Geography Teacher, Mr Uden, the 12th graders left for a trip to do fieldwork in the old parts of Warsaw's right-bank, Praga. Their the students made extensive research to study the effects of Urban Degradation and Urban Regeneration on the stretch of Ząbkowska Street. The fieldwork, part of the renowned IB course offered in our school, gave the students a chance to show their geographical skills and inquisitiveness in research. With pens and tablets in hands, cameras ready, the students took off from our school to spend an entire day walking down the street and recording all evidence needed for their fieldwork reports that they prepared for their Geography IB course. After a day of hard work, our 12th graders got the rest that they deserved.
