The kindergarten class recently finished their unit on various land forms in their Earth Science class. We took our science lesson out of the classroom and visited the Earth museum on Monday, March 30th.
We had a small presentation showing us the assumption of what the Earth looked like before dinosaurs. Children looked at pictures of insects from before dinosaurs and what trees looked like. After, we looked at fossils from the various trees in our presentation as well as rocks from around the world. We each found a rock from our home country! Among the rocks and fossils were bones from various animals such as: mammoth, saber tooth tiger, elephant, rhinoceros, and more!
