French Day at IAS

IAS events always leave good memories. But there is an important ingredient which makes the event memorable: the students' teamwork and dedication.

Take this year's "French Day". High school students who attend Mr. Rabi's French classes formed a team, and sub-teams formed within that team. Together they worked to transform the halls into a French flag. Each group also took care of one room, providing French inspired workshops to the younger generation. Students practiced French conversation, baked croissants, participated in a cultural-historical quiz, watched student make movies, listened to French music, repainted masterpieces and even built an Eiffel tower out of sticks! We were not able to turn IAS into the Jardin des Tuileries, but we tried.
