Steps IAS takes to be GDPR compliant

We would like to outline the steps the school is taking in regards to the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that is coming into the effect on the 25th of May, 2018.

Our staff has been working on implementing all the necessary regulations to oblige with the new GDPR laws. At IAS we take our privacy policy very seriously and want to ensure that all data stored is protected and compliant with EU laws. IAS is working with a professional company that specializes in GDPR and with them we are making sure that all components linked with "data" are safe within the framework of these new regulations. As you know, IAS is subscribed to or contracted with various software companies that help our students with their educational journey. Most systems linked to IAS (i.e. ManageBac, Classe365, Office 365 exc.) are already fully GDPR compliant. But we are making sure that every outlet connected to IAS stores data properly. Recently our staff and our administration have been undergoing audits to make sure all the data is protected. Recently, you may have seen a big increase in your e-mail inbox from various other companies about the upcoming privacy regulation changes. If you want to learn more about GDPR, you can go to the EU website on the topic at
