Mindfulness in IAS

Last year teachers at IAS embarked on an introspective journey into Mindfulness. Through an intensive 8 weeks training course, teachers practiced being mindful of the present moment. Many studies have highlighted the successful effects mindfulness has on student exam scores, creativity and behavior. It has also been proven to reduce stress, increase and focus attention, improve health, decrease depression, sharpen memory and heighten compassion and empathy. We look forward to continuing this exciting journey with students this year as well!
