Message from the Principal
Dear IAS Community,
Next week, we are launching our revised after-school program. We are excited to offer a diverse range of activities spread throughout the week, a structural change that provides students the flexibility to participate in multiple extracurricular pursuits. If you have not done so already, please ensure you register for your preferred activities.
I am also delighted to announce that Yukta and Adiya will serve as our Student Body Presidents for this year. They ran unopposed, reflecting a strong, unified consensus and broad trust from their peers. Active student leadership is a cornerstone of both our IB philosophy and the Polish educational framework, and we are thrilled that their candidacy resonated so powerfully. We look forward to a productive year working together to serve the International American School community.

For the first time, Grade 4 and Grade 5 students will join the Student Council alongside representatives from the higher grades. Their classmates chose them in class elections.
Congratulations to Tymek and Antek from Grade 5, and Zainab and Shazil from Grade 4.

After-school clubs begin on Monday

Our after-school programme begins in the week of 14 September. There are activities across the week, from football and drama to programming, art, games and film.

September: Inquirer of the Month

Elementary School is starting a new monthly tradition. Each month, teachers will recognise one student from each grade who shows a particular IB Learner Profile attribute in their everyday learning.
September is about being an Inquirer: asking thoughtful questions, being curious about the world, enjoying discovery and taking an active part in learning. At the end of the month, one Inquirer of the Month will be chosen from each grade.
Sport at IAS

We have added more photos and videos to the school sports page, including footage from Konstancin. Parents can now see more of the grounds and the students’ activities there.
The page also includes our Athletics at IAS film. You can watch our athletics reel and community sports sessions on Instagram.
Our Instagram reel, “Building something AI can never replace”, shows the IAS community getting together for sport.
The IAS Tiger and our school films
The IAS Tiger has been part of our school spirit for 15 years. Now we have brought him to life through animation to help share everyday updates and useful school information with our community. The school introduction is available below, and you can also watch the Tiger on the IAS homepage.
We have also shared a Kindergarten and Elementary film on YouTube and a film about our mission and values.
School lunches: orders for next week

Students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 tried our new catering on Monday and Tuesday, and we received very positive feedback. Thank you to everyone who took part.
Eating well during the school day is a priority for us. We want a nutritious lunch at school to become a regular habit, with fewer days when packaged snacks, sweets or sugary drinks from nearby shops take the place of a meal. We will keep working on this throughout the year, and your support at home makes a difference.
Kuchnia z Klasą specialises in school and kindergarten meals, prepared fresh from scratch. Please place and confirm your child’s meal orders for next week today. If you have already registered, please log back in and check that the meals and days you need are ordered. Creating an account does not place an order.
- Register in the IAS iKuchnia panel, then log in.
- Open Order/cancel meal, choose the meals and days, and confirm with Order.
- Go to Balance → Pay. Choose Autopay or bank transfer. For a transfer, include the ID shown in the system in your payment reference.
For siblings, use Add child within the same account. Menus, allergies and individual diets can be discussed directly with the catering team through the system. Full catering information and ordering instructions.
School transport with Little Monsters

Our home to school transport partner this year is Little Monsters. If your family would like to use the service, please complete the transport interest form promptly so your area can be considered when routes are planned. Include your pickup address and whether you need mornings, afternoons or both. The form records interest; it is not a booking.
Write to [email protected], call +48 22 649 14 40, or contact Michael Ceesay, IAS Transport, on +48 603 952 955.
Our updated school website

Our school website has been redesigned and updated. You will find new photos and films, current school information, the calendar and this weekly bulletin, together with catering, transport and after-school club details.
Please take a look at ias.edu.pl. We will continue adding news and useful information throughout the year.
Family information and contact details
The family community pages bring together the timetable, school information and the latest bulletin. Use the community password you have already received; contact the office if you need help accessing the pages.
Please also check your family contact details, especially phone numbers, addresses and authorised collection arrangements. Keeping these current helps the office reach the right person when needed.
The Ask IAS button on our websites can help you find school information. For questions about your own child, please contact your homeroom teacher or the office.
A reminder about the 2,000 PLN referral credit
If you know a family looking for a school, a personal introduction can help them take the first step. Our referral programme offers 2,000 PLN in tuition credit when a new family you refer enrols and pays the registration fee.
Please ask them to name you at their first contact with IAS, before submitting application documents. See the referral terms for how and when the credit is applied.
