    Welcome to the International American School of Warsaw. KG to Grade 12, with IB, American Diploma and Polish Matura pathways.

    One of the longest-serving international schools in Warsaw. 37 years, and more than 1,000 graduates.

    Every child is known by name

    A student to teacher ratio of 7 to 1, so teaching is shaped around the child in front of it rather than the middle of the room.

    Children from forty countries

    Children arrive from more than 40 countries and are taught in English by qualified native speaking teachers, with EAL support for those who need it.

    Beyond the timetable

    Sport, the stage and student projects run alongside lessons, including the Innovation Summit each May, where students pitch their own ventures.

    Thirty seven years of graduates

    Founded in 1989 and now more than 1,000 graduates. In the May 2026 IB session the school averaged 34 points, against a worldwide average near 30.6.

    The years in between

    A school is more than its classrooms

    Most of what a child remembers happens between the lessons. A conversation in a corridor, a club they did not expect to love, the first morning somebody said their name properly. With seven students to every teacher, none of it goes unnoticed.

    Start at three, leave with a diploma

    PreKG through Grade 12, in two buildings on the same street in Ursynów. A child can join at three and finish here without ever changing school.

    Accreditations

    IBO - International Diploma

    Students in the IBDP choose six subjects from established IBO groupings in addition to the obligatory course in Theory of Knowledge (TOK). IBDP ranges from Pre-IB in Grade 10 to Grade 11 & 12 as the main years of the course.
