Our mission
A well-rounded education that helps young people grow into responsible, open-minded citizens of the world.
The International American School of Warsaw offers an education that develops responsible and dynamic world citizens. Established in 1989, IAS was one of the first international schools in the city, and we have been teaching students from kindergarten to grade 12 ever since.
Nature and progress, side by side
Our campus sits in the Kabaty neighbourhood, surrounded by the Kabaty forest reserve. It gives students a rare blend of green space and a forward-looking community.
Our curriculum reflects that same balance. We make room for growth and ambition alongside quiet reflection, so children learn to think as well as achieve.

What we value
A consistent path
Fully accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization, Cognia, and the Polish Ministry of Education. Our K-12 program follows one clear academic path toward the IB Diploma at high school.
Openness and achievement
We value multiculturalism and high standards in equal measure, in an environment built around joy in learning and real academic excellence.
Shared values
Understanding, critical thinking, creativity, tolerance, communication, responsibility, and integrity guide everything we teach.
Education as a partnership
We see learning as a partnership between students, families, and educators. Our teachers and staff work closely with each child and their family, in an atmosphere of mutual respect where everyone can grow together.
See our mission in action
The best way to understand what we believe is to visit and meet the people who live it every day.
