 News 

The Science and Math Faculty have planned a distributed trilogy of Science Fairs throughout the school year. There were Science and Math themed activities in November. On Monday afternoon in the D18 Cafeteria, we will have the first Math sequel. This time the activities will be led by our talented 8th Grade students and other classes will have the opportunity to visit and review the projects. Disruption to normal lessons will be minimal. 

 Our online Parent Teacher conferences will run from April 12 – 21. Details of how to book meetings with teachers will be sent on Tuesday, around the time that reports are published. As at the Semester 1 meetings, each teacher will have a calendly link through which meetings can be booked. 

 

Egg Day D18 – Don’t Egg-nore this message!  

Our egg-ceptional student body presidents, Nguyen Monika/Pritika Karira, are planning some egg-citing activities for Wednesday! Grades 9-11 will have classes during the first two lessons while grades 5-8 will have an activity. 

 Here are the current house points which eggs-aggerates the need for certain houses to show up Points will be given to students who dress up in the theme of spring/Eggs, be creative! Prepare for: 

  1. eggs-ercise with our walk to the forest and the activities 
  1. the cool weather that’s egg-pected with layers of clothes, 
  1. lunch by bringing food, snacks, and water! 

 Dental Hygiene Workshop 

 On Thursday Grades 1-3 had a dental hygiene workshop. They learned about how their teeth are built, what may damage them and how to take care of your teeth. The workshop was done by Ms. Katarzyna Skura from the Villa Nova Dental Clinic.
