Class schedule:
Diploma program exams will start on Wednesday with Business Management. The cohort of students taking exams is our largest to date and requires a change in room organisation. Most of the classes that are typically scheduled upstairs in D18 have been moved elsewhere in the school for the duration of the IBDP exams. These changes will take effect from Monday and students have been informed. Other changes are more typical: the bells will be switched off, the school should be kept quiet, especially during breaks, the football pitch will be closed when exams are taking place, etc.
The updated schedule is on the website as version 1.1.25_exam rooms switcheroo

Middle School Green School
43 students will join Ms. Solenn, Mr. Kyle, Mr. Aydin for the Green School trip to the tri-city, lead by Ms. Melissa. They will leave early on Monday morning and return late on Friday evening. We look forward to regular updates.
No new content will be taught to remaining students and depending on the numbers of students attending school this week, some classes may even be combined. It is a good opportunity for your child to ask for a review of any particularly difficult topics with a smaller group.
D12 book fair
Another wonderful day with the Usborne Book Fair. Remember to return your wish list and money by Tuesday!
Grade 11 field trip
On Thursday, 11 April, the 11th grade English B class attended the 65th Annual Fulbright Conference at Centralny Dom Technologii. The theme of the conference was Ethical, Smart and Safe: Navigating the Digital World of Tomorrow. Here, the students were able to hear opening words from the US Ambassador to Poland as well as the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Then, they were able to both listen to and speak with the distinguished Fulbright scholar and keynote speaker, Stephen J. Farnsworth, on the topic of “Battling Disinformation with Political Humor”. Later, the students actively took part in a media panel on diversity in journalism, where our students were approached after the Q&A session and complimented on their insightful contributions to the discussion. After a nice lunch, the students had a bit of hands-on learning where they used their own devices to detect fake news from a pro: Natalia Sawka, currently a political journalist at OKO.press and former digital verification journalist at Agence France-Presse. Overall, this action-packed day allowed students to build upon their English B and core skills while giving them an opportunity to meet with prestigious Polish and American scholars.
