New school presidents
Monika Nguyen and Pritika Karira have been elected as the new student body presidents narrowly defeating Zofia Gowin and Milda Statkute in the election run-off vote on Monday. They succeed DaryaKonotoptseva and Milena Dederko who did an excellent job in challenging circumstances. We look forward to seeing Monika and Pritika build on the work of presidents that have come before them.

10th Grade Polish Field Trip
On Thursday, 6 October, the 10th Grade Polish class visited the Warsaw National Museum to see Witkacy. Sejsmograf epoki przyspieszenia (Witkacy: A Seismograph of the Age of Acceleration). The exhibition was designed to celebrate the works of Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, a renowned artist, philosopher, writer, and social critic. This collection of his pieces was carefully curated to reflect the titular artist’s mindset on a range of topics including the cosmos, the body, history, movement, the original artistic vision, the psychological intensity of the metaphysical experience, and sociological reflection. It proved to be a wonderful experience for all of the students involved.
