Culture Day at D18 – April 12

Our Grade 12 students are reviving an old IAS tradition by arranging a mini-culture day at D18 on Friday, April 12th. Participating students will arrange their stalls showcasing national food, cultural items etc. in the school cafeteria and other students will have the opportunity to visit the event with minimal disruption to scheduled lessons. If there are any students that would still like to participate, please contact nguyen.monika@ias.edu.pl on Teams.

D12 Learner of the Month – Principled

Kg – Prisha Shetty
In Kindergarten, Prisha is our most principled student. She makes sure to worry about herself first; make sure she is ready for the lessons, pay attention and work hard when it’s time to learn, be fair and kind when it’s time to play.  She remembers our school and class rules and always tries her best to follow them. She is honest, even when it means admitting to a mistake she made. In our class, we can always count on Prisha to know the difference between right and wrong, and choose to do the right thing, even when it is difficult.

Grade 1 – Alikhan Tankey
This month we have chosen Alikhan as the most principled student in grade one. Alikhan is a responsible student. He is prepared for lessons and makes sure to have all of his materials ready every day. He is motivated and works hard during lessons. Alikhan is doing a great job of remembering our classroom and school rules. He is honest and understands what is the right thing to do. Congratulations Alikhan!

Grade 2
The second graders have been working a lot on understanding what it means to be principled and applying it in the classroom. We have had situations that gave an opportunity to choose the right behavior over bad behavior. Some of the students also showed that they are able to be honest and brave in admitting if it did happen that they had made a bad choice. I hope that the whole class continues this path to being truely principled!

Grade 3 – Aiym Nursalim
In 3rd Grader, Aiym is a very principled student. She is extremely responsible, she is fair and always does what is right. She plays fairly with her friends and is very reliable. She is an honest and respectful student always showing kindess to her classmates and to the teachers.

Grade 4 – Hanna Ngoc Nguyen
In 4th grade, Hanna is an extremely principled student. She does the right thing even when no one else is watching. She treats everyone with a great deal of fairness and kindness. She has a strong sense of respect to all those around her. Just a couple weeks ago, she found 200zl on the floor and immediately brought it to a teacher so it could be returned to its rightful owner. She is a fantastic role model to others and a perfect example of what it means to be a principled person. Congratulations, Hanna!
