Thank you for 2021/2022

Dear Parents, Students and Teachers,

This school year has had it’s challenges and successes. The resilience and ingenuity of staff and students during online lessons continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in times of crisis. However, I am thankful that the majority of lessons have taken place in school this year and I believe that we have all found a new appreciation for what we can gain from school beyond homework and grades. I look forward to building on that momentum during the next school year with all of our stakeholders.

The war in Ukraine is a poignant reminder of limits of human progress. It is as if the world refuses to change. But ordinary people from across Poland, Ukraine and the rest of the world have come out in united support of the Ukrainian people. Our student and parent community sprang into action also with various independent collections and support actions. We hope that this war will conclude soon but will also plan further support actions for the Fall.
The administration is reflecting on the experiences of all stakeholders and striving to build on this year’s experiences and challenges. Please note that during the vacation period, The school office will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 09:00 to 15:00. Our administrative staff will be available online from 09:00 – 15:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We will return to school for the opening ceremony on September 1st followed by the first full day of school on September 2nd.

Finally, I want to genuinely thank all of the teachers, parents, students and administrators who have helped make this year such a success.

Yours sincerely,

These sessions have allowed them to gain valuable insights into the options available to them after completing their education at IAS. Meanwhile, our younger students enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day today, full of fun and excitement. We have made the decision to postpone the student council presiden
