Dear IAS Shoutouts,
As we approach the end of the IB exams and prepare for the high school’s final examinations, I want to commend our students for their hard work and focus. The smooth running of recent exams is a testament to their dedication and the support of our staff—well done to all!
We are equally excited to announce IAS Community Week, starting Monday, 26th May. This special week will showcase the creativity and collaboration of our KG through 5th-grade students, along with our 11th graders, through a variety of engaging activities. Parents are warmly invited to join us—it will be a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate, and witness the vibrant learning happening at IAS.

5th Grade Preparations
This week, our 5th-grade students have been working with great focus and creativity as they prepare for our upcoming Community week event on May 26th. As part of the preparations, students designed and crafted personalized invitations to welcome their parents and close family members to the event.
Students shared ideas, offered feedback, and supported one another in pairs. Each invitation was themed to reflect the spirit of the event.
Each pair of students was assigned a specific biome that they will recreate in a box. This hands-on project will give them the opportunity to explore different ecosystems, apply what they’ve learned this semester in Science class, and express their ideas through art and design.
Each student brought their invitation home, and we hope families enjoyed receiving them and recognized the thoughtful effort behind each design!
Green School 2025
IAS students recently returned from an unforgettable journey through the Baltic capitals, filled with cultural discovery and lasting memories.
From exploring the medieval charm of Riga and Tallinn to standing in awe of Stockholm’s Royal Palace and the Vasa warship, each city offered unique glimpses into Northern Europe’s rich history.
In Finland, students wandered through the historic streets of Turku and experienced Helsinki’s vibrant blend of tradition and modern life. Ferry rides across the Baltic Sea shared meals, evening board games, and Karaoke added a sense of adventure and bonding to the experience.
The trip was not only educational but also a chance to connect with new cultures, deepen friendships, and create stories they’ll remember for years to come.
