ZTM Student Cards
How to check your child’s public transport Student Card and apply for a new one.
Dear Parents, we kindly inform you that the ZTM card for students will expire on September 30th, 2023. Please verify that this applies to your child.
Check your card’s validity
The validity of the Student Card can be checked at sprawdzkarte.wtp.waw.pl by typing your child’s 11-digit card number. If the card expires on September 30th, you must apply for a new copy as soon as possible.
How to get a new Student Card
1. Electronic link
Apply online at kartaucznia.ztm.waw.pl. You will need your current Student Card number and a photograph. The photo should be an ID photo, taken in portrait orientation on a solid, light background, in JPG or PNG format, at a minimum resolution of 200 by 259 pixels, with a file size no larger than 2 MB. It should be current and taken within the last six months. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation and later a notification by email, and you will pick up the new card at school after a message from the office.
2. Paper application at school
Submit a completed application form directly to the school, together with a 3.5 by 4.5 cm Student ID photo.
3. ZTM Passenger Service Points
Apply in person at a ZTM Passenger Service Point. You will need the current Student Card, a valid school ID, and a 3.5 by 4.5 cm photo of the student.
