Parent Survey 2026/2027

Dear IAS Families,

As we look ahead to the 2026/2027 school year, I would like to share some of the areas we are actively developing at IAS and invite you to take part in a short parent survey.

IAS has always been a school with a strong history, but we are also entering an important new chapter. Many improvements are already underway, while others are being carefully prepared for the years ahead. Some of this work is visible now, such as classroom upgrades, new technology, sports development and curriculum planning. Other parts are longer-term, including the future new campus project, which we are not speaking about in detail yet, but which reflects the serious direction and long-term future of IAS.

For now, our focus is clear: to keep improving the daily experience of our students, families and teachers.

Over the coming year, families will begin to see continued development in several key areas:

Classroom renovations and learning spaces

We have begun a phased approach to upgrading classrooms and school spaces. This will continue over the next school year and beyond, allowing us to improve the learning environment thoughtfully and without unnecessary disruption to the school day.

Technology upgrades

We have already started adding more smart TVs and modern classroom tools, with further additions planned. These upgrades are not about technology for the sake of technology. They are about giving teachers better tools, improving engagement and supporting more dynamic learning.

Curriculum development

We are continuing to strengthen our curriculum and academic planning across the school. This includes reviewing how students build key skills, how we support different learning needs, and how we prepare older students for future academic pathways.

AI literacy and responsible technology use

AI is becoming part of the world our students will graduate into. Our approach is careful and age-appropriate. Younger students need strong foundations, creativity and critical thinking first. Older students need to learn how to use AI responsibly, ethically and intelligently as part of modern academic and professional life.

English as an Additional Language support

As an international school, we know that EAL support is extremely important for many families. We are reviewing how to further strengthen EAL provision so that students can integrate confidently, build academic English and feel supported in the classroom.

Additional language opportunities

We are exploring after-school language options such as Chinese, Russian, Arabic and Ukrainian, depending on parent interest and student demand.

Catering and nutrition

For the new school year, we are reviewing our catering offer with a stronger focus on nutrition, healthy choices and dietary needs. This includes understanding parent interest in a halal meal option.

Sports and the Konstancin grounds

IAS has continued developing its sports grounds in Konstancin. We would like to make greater use of these facilities during suitable parts of the year, especially from September to October and again from April to June, depending on weather and field conditions.

After-school and enrichment activities

We are reviewing how to expand extracurricular opportunities, including school-led activities and possible cooperation with specialist external providers such as Noise Makers. Some opportunities may be included within school programming, while others may be optional and fee-based.

Field trips and learning beyond school

We would also like to better understand parent interest in more local trips in Poland, as well as international field trip opportunities, especially for older students.

Communication, wellbeing and family support

We also want to improve how families are informed and connected to the school. This may include clearer updates, more information about student wellbeing, occasional Coffee with the Principal meetings and practical information for international families living in Warsaw.

The purpose of this survey is to better understand where our families see the most value. We are not asking these questions as a formality. Your feedback will help us make better decisions, set priorities and understand which directions are most meaningful for the IAS community.
