Dear Parents,
Last November, our students took the lead in creating IASMUN, our first Model UN conference. A hundred delegates came, not only from IAS but from schools across Warsaw and beyond, for a weekend of real debate. It was a genuine success, and this year we are doing it again on a bigger scale.
That is why I am writing. I would like to invite you to support IASMUN 2026 as a sponsor.
The conference will run from 20 to 22 November, with around 200 delegates across eight committees. This year’s theme is “Maintaining Global Security in a New World Order”, and the conference will once again give students the opportunity to step into the role of diplomats, debate real international issues, and work towards solutions with their peers.
We have also created a dedicated IASMUN 2026 page on the IAS website, where you can read more about the conference, the Secretariat, the committees, the theme, and sponsorship opportunities.
Last year, we were fortunate to welcome distinguished guest speakers, including Andrzej Braiter, former Ambassador of Poland to Brazil and Costa Rica. This year’s speakers will be announced closer to the event, and we would also be very happy to hear from parents who may be able to suggest or introduce suitable speakers from diplomacy, international relations, business, academia, law, media, or other relevant fields.
I coordinate the conference alongside a student Secretariat drawn from our IB and MYP students, and I can tell you they take it seriously.
Support can take many forms, and all of it counts. Some sponsors contribute financially. Others help in kind: a guest speaker we would not otherwise reach, catering or refreshments for the delegates, vouchers or small gifts for the committee awards, a venue, printing, or other practical support. None of it is too small.
We welcome support in whatever form suits you, whether that is something you offer personally, through your own company, or through a company you know well enough to introduce. A quiet word to the right person is sometimes the most valuable contribution of all.
