Stables Trip
Last Tuesday our lower elementary students participated in the annual special May field trip. We travelled to a charming stable in Wilga village, just outside of Warsaw.
There, students engaged in many wonderful activities; such as feeding and petting various farm animals, riding horses and in a horse-drawn carriage, roasting sausages and corn in a bonfire. It was a fun-filled day in nature!
Sports Day: A Celebration of Team Spirit and Fair Play
On the 12th of May, the Physical and Health Education department hosted a thrilling and memorable Sports Day for students from Grade 3 to Grade 8. It was a day filled with energy, excitement, and an incredible display of teamwork and sportsmanship.
The day kicked off with the Relay Race, where students showcased their speed, coordination, and team strategy. Yellow House emerged victorious in this event, earning a well-deserved 100 points. Pink House followed closely with 75 points, while Teal House and Orange House earned 50 and 25 points, respectively.
Next up was the exciting Flag Competition and the dynamic matches of Football and Dodgeball. These games highlighted the agility and tactical skills of our students, with Orange House dominating the Flag Competition and earning a full 100 points. Pink House secured second place again with 75 points, while Teal and Yellow Houses earned 50 and 25 points.
The final event, the Heavy Ball Throw, tested strength and technique. Teal House showed impressive power, taking first place and scoring 100 points. Pink House continued its consistent performance with 75 points, while Yellow and Orange Houses earned 50 and 25 points.
The day concluded with cheers, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment. Students from all houses demonstrated not only athletic ability but also incredible sportsmanship and unity. The overall results were:
- 1st Place: Pink House – 225 points
- 2nd Place: Teal House – 200 points
- 3rd Place: Yellow House – 175 points
- 4th Place: Orange House – 150 points
We are incredibly proud of all our students for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and positive spirit throughout the day. Sports Day was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of our school community coming together, supporting one another, and giving their best. Congratulations to Pink House for their overall victory, and to every student who made the day so special.
