IAS is preparing grounds of its own in Konstancin, on a site of five hectares. The sports pitches are the first part and are ready for use from September. The rest is still in its preparatory stages, and this page will carry each step as it is settled.

Where things stand
Two campuses, one school day.
The campus today
Teaching continues at Dembego, in Kabaty, and the attention there is on the school as it runs now: the academic programme, student support, activities and the opportunities open to each year group. Nothing about the current school day changes because of Konstancin.
Grounds of our own
Konstancin is the longer term. The first part is already built. The sports pitches are prepared and available from September, which gives the school playing fields of its own for the first time.
The wider site
The buildings remain in their preparatory stages. The architectural design is complete, by Bujnowski Architekci, a Warsaw studio that has designed some of the most modern educational spaces in Poland.
Open now
The sports grounds are finished.
The pitches are the first part of the Konstancin site to be completed, and they are ready for use from September. Everything else on these pages is still being built.
The grounds give students dedicated space for football, physical education and outdoor activities, on land the school owns rather than hires. They sit on the same five hectare site as the campus that follows.
What is open, and what is not
The sports grounds are complete and in use. The buildings shown further down this page are architectural renders of a campus still in preparation.
The thinking
Planned around the world these students are growing into.
Education is changing quickly, and the site is being planned around what students will need, not around what a school building has usually contained.
Sport
Athletics, pitches, tennis and basketball courts, on grounds the school owns, not hires.
Making things
Robotics and engineering, alongside coding and work with artificial intelligence.
Science outdoors
Modern science and biology laboratories, with botany and outdoor learning on the grounds themselves.
Art and making space
Art rooms and immersive creative spaces, among a number of others still being planned.
The question everyone asks
How far it really is.
About eight minutes by road from the Dembego campus. Konstancin sounds like a separate town, and it is one, but it begins almost where Kabaty ends.
How often students would travel there
Still being settled. It will depend on the year group and on what part of the site is in use.
How they would be supervised on the way
Also still being settled. Supervision and transport arrangements will be written out in full before any of it affects a child.
When any of this changes
Not yet. Until the arrangements are published here, and communicated to families directly, the school day runs exactly as it does now.
