03.01.2024Christmas Show 2024 - PreKG - Grade 4
D12 had a wonderful Christmas Show! Under the direction of our music teacher, Miss Alesia Ramuk, students in grades PreKG - Grade 4 performed in our show: ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. The students sang a variety of Christmas songs and performed Christmas dances. Their performances spread Christmas spirit and holiday cheer all throughout the theater. I would like to welcome everyone back to the IAS community and offer greetings to those new members joining us for the 2023-24 school year. For those who do not know me, I have been teaching at IAS since 2013 and have served as Vice-principal from 2015 - 2020 and now Principal since September 2020. I look forward to seeing new and old faces returning to our classrooms, with energy and enthusiasm for the new year.

The International American School (IAS) hosted a TedX Youth event in Warsaw on power shifts in social, cultural, and socio-economic changes, attended by around 150 people. Students engaged in thought-provoking debates and demonstrated a deep commitment to understanding complex issues, showcasing their capacity to meaningfully engage with global topics. The event inspired and empowered the next generation of leaders and change-makers.

Students from Dembego 12 enjoyed their Halloween festivities. We went to a pumpkin farm, where everyone got to pick their own pumpkin, pet farm animals, ride a zip line and more. In the afternoon we decorated our pumpkins and went trick-or-treating around the school. It was a wonderful day!

After an action packed few weeks the upcoming week will give staff and students a chance to draw their breath and return to normal. Students and staff enjoyed a marvelous festival atmosphere in D12 and in D18 on Friday for our annual Halloween celebrations. There are just a few photos attached here but plenty more to follow on our social media this week.

The book fair will take place in D12 from 08:30 – 15:30 on Thursday October 20th. If you wish to purchase the some or all of the wish list books, students must return the wish lists and appropriate amount of money to Ms. Veronica by Wednesday October 26th.

Monika Nguyen and Pritika Karira have been elected as the new student body presidents narrowly defeating Zofia Gowin and Milda Statkute in the election run-off vote on Monday. They succeed Darya Konotoptseva and Milena Dederko who did an excellent job in challenging circumstances.

10.08.2022Orientation Day for newly enrolled Parents and Students
We would like to invite you to the 2022/2023 Orientation Day at IAS. The Orientation Day will take place on the 31st of August in the school cafeteria. A day before the Opening Day. This is a chance for you to get acclimated with the school, meet the teachers and get all the necessary information to start the school year off right. Please note that we have divided new students and parents into three groups. Please come to school at the time indicated in the e-mail.
